Feed consultation

Feed consultation – Knowing what your horse really needs – instead of trying blindly.

Feeding horses is becoming increasingly complex. What works well for one horse can cause problems for another. A well-thought-out ration plan not only helps save on feed costs but can also prevent health problems and significantly improve your horse's quality of life.

Many problems develop gradually – insufficient protein, an imbalanced mineral balance, or a persistently unbalanced calcium-phosphorus (Ca:P) ratio. The consequences range from decreased performance to serious illnesses. Taking early action often saves not only money but also worry.

Let me advise you and find out which feeding advice is best for your horse.

How I work

This is how a feed consultation works.

At the beginning, I will take a very close look at your horse together with you: What is its general condition? What is its coat like? Does it have any health problems or is it particularly sensitive in certain areas?

In the next step, I will determine your horse's needs - based on factors such as age, weight, activity level and special requirements.

Then we'll look at what feed your horse currently has available on a regular basis and whether the feed provides the necessary nutrients or whether supplements are needed.

In the next step, I will give you specific suggestions on how we can best meet your horse's needs – whether through supplementary feed or adjustments to the amount and composition of the feed. This way, we ensure that your horse gets everything it needs for its health and vitality.

Dietary supplement

Nutritional supplements for your horse – tried and tested quality at affordable prices

I maintain a small stock of high-quality nutritional supplements, including mineral feed, brewer's yeast, oils, herbs and trace elements from the brands Makana and Lexa.

Why these brands in particular?

Quite simply: They have a wide range of products and their products have repeatedly proven to be particularly well-balanced, helpful and reliable in practice.

Furthermore, the excellent price-performance ratio is convincing and helps to optimize overall feed costs.

Additionally, I offer monthly group orders, so you can benefit from more favorable conditions.
